Lorenzo Lamas

Foregoing veterinary school for acting school, Lorenzo enrolled at Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop at age 18. At 19, he was cast as “Tom”, the sweet and simple varsity football player with a crush on Olivia Newton John's “Sandy”, in the Blockbuster “Grease”. In 1978, Lorenzo won his first theatrical leading role, playing a sympathetic and conflicted high school wrestler in Disney's “Take Down”.

1981 brought Lorenzo to television and international recognition as Jane Wyman's grandson, in the long running CBS show “Falcon Crest” where Lorenzo received both a Golden Globe and a Nosotros “Golden Eagle” award nomination for his work.

During the 1990's, Lorenzo starred in many “action” movies, among them “Snakeeater”, “Black Dawn” and “CIA: Code name Alexa”, which was also his first feature film as director. More action followed when Stephen J. Cannell cast Lorenzo in another long running television hit, “Renegade”, for USA network.

Lorenzo followed up with two more internationally syndicated TV shows, “Air America” and the sci-fi flavored “The Immortal”. In 2005, Lorenzo was cast as a hispanic single father in CBS Daytime's “The Bold and The Beautiful”.

2006 brought Lorenzo to the stage and with a little encouragement from his mother, legendary actress Arlene Dahl, and entertainer Michael Feinstein. Lorenzo debuted his musical Cabaret act at Feinstein's at the Regency. This last summer Lorenzo starred in “The King and I” with Rachel De Benedet at the Ogunquit Playhouse.
