As we all know, the current COVID-19 pandemic is having a significant negative impact on our society. Important missions like that of Ohio Cancer Research are certainly not immune to that impact.
Restrictions on public gatherings and our concerns for the health and safety of our presenters, donors, and staff have forced us to cancel all of our foreseeable in-person fundraising events. During normal times, these events are our primary fundraising tool allowing us to raise critical seed money for new ideas in cancer research. It goes without saying that this is a difficult time in many ways.
