Ohio Cancer Research and our Central Ohio donors, volunteers and board members are incredibly excited to announce that our 31^st Star Award Gala will honor Jeff Edwards, President, Edwards Companies and Chairman, President and CEO of Installed Building Products.

This year’s event will take place on Thursday, August 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Columbus at Easton to raise funds for cancer research, public information and awareness.

With new, groundbreaking foundational cancer research projects set to be announced soon, OCR hopes to make this year’s gala one of the most successful in more than 30 years!

We look forward to celebrating all the exciting development projects Jeff has led in helping to truly transform the Columbus landscape, in addition to his philanthropic contributions to the community.

The evening also includes the presentation of the 2023 Sanford Goldston Memorial Research Award to Emanuele Cocucci, MD, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, The Ohio State University.

OCR has provided nearly $2.3 million in seed money to Columbus area researchers at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital which has generated over $256 million from other sources to continue work based on initial success.
