OCR is an independent, statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to the cure and prevention of the many forms of cancer. OCR funds ground-breaking research that saves, improves and extends lives through new, innovative ideas. We have provided over $8 million in seed grants to researchers that has generated more than $782 million in new money from other funding sources, such as the National Institutes of Health to continue work based on
success!

This year OCR is proud to have awarded $120,000 in new seed money grants to our 2022 grant recipients, Liangqi Xie, PhD, at the Cleveland Clinic and Priya Dedhia, MD, PhD, at The Ohio State University. We are also providing second-year funding to Amar Desai, PhD at Case Western Reserve University and Amanda Panfil, PhD, at The Ohio State University.
