The 24th Star Award Gala Cincinnati

For 24 years, Ohio Cancer Research has honored the most prominent and successful business and civic leaders in the Cincinnati area at the Star Award Gala to raise funds for basic cancer research, public information and awareness.

This year is no exception as we honor Mark G. Witte, Executive Director, TriHealth Cancer Institute, on Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 pm at Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel.

The Discovery Award for Research will be presented to Zalfa Abdel-Malek, PhD University of Cincinnati. Musical entertainment will be provided by the sensational Kathy Wade.

In the Cincinnati area alone, we have provided to researchers nearly $1.8 million that has generated $66 million from other sources based on success.
