Ohio Cancer Research Launches  “YOGA ON THE GREEN” Wellness Event, with Renowned Yoga Instructor Rodney Yee.

Yoga enthusiasts are invited to help support cancer research and honor loved ones affected by cancer by participating in the first annual “Yoga on the Green” at Huntington Park on Saturday, September 14, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.  The outdoor wellness event, sponsored by Ohio Cancer Research (OCR), will be led by studio professionals, including renowned yoga instructor Rodney Yee.  A $25 tax-deductible donation online or at the door secures a spot, with 100% of proceeds helping fund cutting-edge cancer research in Ohio.

Yoga activities, accompanied by music and videos, will be held on the baseball stadium field, with magnificent views of the downtown Columbus Skyline.  The sessions will be interspersed with giveaways, health and wellness exhibitors, and messages of hope presented by cancer survivors.  Healthy refreshments will be available throughout the morning.

Ohio Cancer Research is an independent, statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to the cure and prevention of cancer, and the reduction of its debilitating effects through aggressive basic seed-money research, cancer information and awareness.  www.ohiocancer.org
